Robert Shoobs is a seasoned banking professional with extensive corporate finance and transaction advisory experience. Prior to joining MMG Advisors in 2018, he was an M&A banker at Triangle Capital, where he advised clients in the retail, consumer, and technology sectors. He played an active role in numerous complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, including the sale of professional hair color brand Pulp Riot to L’Oréal and the sale of Fabian Couture to Valesco Industries, a private equity firm.
Robert began his career at HSBC, where he was a member of the banking coverage team directly responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in the automotive, oil and gas, and utility sectors. Before joining the coverage team, he was a product manager within HSBC’s Global Transaction Banking group. Robert holds an MS in Finance from the University of Rochester and a BA from Union College. He also holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses.
