Connor R. Bergen is a well-versed investment professional with extensive strategic advisory and transaction experience across the consumer and technology sectors.

At MMG, Connor is responsible for partnering with company management to prepare their business to transact, identifying and evaluating potential buy- and sell-side mandate opportunities, and for simultaneously shepherding multiple transactions from initiation through closing.

Prior to joining the firm, Connor was an investment professional at DuneGlass Capital and New Harbor Capital, both operations-oriented lower middle market private equity firms in Chicago. Before that he was a strategy consultant with MonitorDeloitte where he led multiple value-accretive projects across the consumer, retail, and technology industries and advised senior executives of some of the world's biggest companies on growth strategies, organizational effectiveness, and operations-oriented M&A. Connor is also an experienced Board leader - he serves on the Young Leaders’ Board of the Kellogg Alumnae Finance Network and previously served on the Board of Social Venture Partners – Chicago.

Connor holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Connecticut. He’s also an amateur woodworker, a transplanted Cubs fan and a mediocre chef.
