Brandon Mitchel is a seasoned investment banking professional with extensive transaction advisory, corporate finance, and direct investing experience across the consumer, retail, and retail technology sectors.

Prior to joining MMG Advisors in 2020, Brandon was a Vice President at Threadstone Advisors, where he advised on growth capital raises and private placements, as well as buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, with a particular focus on digital retail, fashion, luxury, wellness, and beauty. Clients included Contemporary Lifestyle Group (Rebecca Taylor & Parker) in its sale by Sun Capital Partners to VINCE, Forman Mills in its sale to Goode Partners, Allheart in its divestiture from Blackstreet, Proenza Schouler in its sale to Mudrick Capital, NEST Fragrances in its sale to Eurazeo Brands, as well as the likes of Cos Bar, Cult Beauty, Bandier, Ippolita, and Planet Blue, among others.

Brandon began his career at Fireman Capital Partners, a private equity firm targeting high growth branded consumer investments that included Hudson Jeans, Serena & Lily, and Evolution Fresh. Afterwards, he joined Brown Gibbons Lang & Company, where he focused on M&A advisory services across the consumer and retail services sectors and was later an Associate in the U.S. Private Equity Group at Baird Capital where he focused on technology services and manufactured products.

Brandon sits on the Associate Council of Delivering Good, as well as on the Accessories Council Junior Board, where he is the head of the Finance & Governance Committee.

Brandon holds a BA in Government & Law from Lafayette College, where he was also the Captain of the Men’s Golf Team. He also holds the FINRA Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.
