Andrew Postal heads MMG’s M&A practice. Mr. Postal joined MMG in 1999 after distinguishing himself as a successful executive of a global apparel business and as an attorney with one of the nation’s pre-eminent law firms.

During his tenure at MMG, Mr. Postal has successfully represented both buy and sell-side clients across a broad spectrum of consumer products industries, including the apparel, footwear, accessories, home textiles, watch and jewelry sectors. His M&A experience includes cross-border transactions, with a special emphasis on Asian based acquirers.  Clients have included:  Jimlar Corporation; Crimzon Rose; Suhyang International Co, Ltd; Fishman Tobin; Foreign Resources Corp.; Added Extras, LLC; Ralsey Group, Ltd.; Briefly Stated, Inc.; DWI Holdings, Inc.; Tempus International Corporation(dba Michele Watches);;  Garfield & Marks Designs, Ltd.; Ben Berger LLC;  Winlet Group Ltd.; Homestead Holdings, Inc.; Wear Me Apparel Corp. (dba, Kids Headquarters); Happy Kids, Inc.; Hampton Industries; Covington Industries, Inc.; Donnkenny Apparel Group, Inc.; The Moret Group; and Waterbury Garment, LLC.

In addition to his M&A responsibilities, Mr. Postal has handled select assignments in MMG’s restructuring and turnaround practice, including financial restructuring assignments for both lenders and operating companies.  He has also advised companies in Sec. 363 bankruptcy sales. Mr. Postal serves on the advisory board of a number of client companies.

Prior to joining MMG, Mr. Postal was President of Judy Bond for more than 15 years. At Judy Bond, he managed six factories in four countries; diversified the company’s sourcing and manufacturing capabilities throughout the Caribbean Basin and Asian markets; repositioned the brand beyond its department store distribution to include specialty stores and mass merchandisers; and managed all phases of the company’s finances.  He also served as Trustee of Caribbean Latin American Action, a non-profit industry trade group, and as Chairman of the Apparel and Haiti task forces.

Mr. Postal began his career as an attorney in Washington, D.C., as counsel to the Church Committee of the U.S. Senate. Later, he specialized in commercial litigation and M&A cases while practicing law with the firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore.

Mr. Postal holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Georgetown University and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Economics, University of Pennsylvania.
